Few have seen 9/11 like this. Psychologists call it resilience or the ability to recover from (or to resist being affected by) some shock, insult, or disturbance.
Probably the best way to react.
Could do more? Maybe participate in a social organization to try to make the world better...a bit or a lot depending on the possibilities ;-)

if you're away from things and you realise that there's nothing you can do... is it bad that you don't react?
onde thing is watching the towers on fire... another is knowing there is a psicological and emotional terrorism going on just meters away from you... i keep mentioning it, but this is what i'm talking about:

anyway... if i was feeding my child while the wtc was on fire... i would keep feeding him, at that distance... but of course if i was there i wouldn't be so sure that only the wtc would be attacked... maybe a war was starting...
